Statement of Faith

We Believe:

I. In one God who consists of three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

II. In the Father who created the heavens and earth, sustains and governs them according to His sovereign will.

III. In the Son, Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, who is fully God and fully man, was crucified on a cross, buried and resurrected from the dead, ascended into Heaven, who sits at the right hand of the Father.

IV. In the Holy Spirit who was sent by the Father and the Son to empower and comfort all believers and convict the world of guilt in regards to sin, righteousness, and judgement.

V. That the Bible in the original Scriptures is without error in matters pertaining to doctrine and practice and has supreme and perfect authority over all men.

VI. That man is created in the image of God but possesses a sinful nature that separates him from God.

VII. That God reconciled man to Himself through the atoning work of Christ and that one must have faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins.

VIII. That the Church is the Body of Christ with the purpose of worshiping God, edifying the saints, and evangelizing the lost.

IX. That Christ will come again bodily to resurrect all men to a final judgement of blessedness for believers and punishment for unbelievers, for all eternity.
